Tip 1: Check Support Placement

Dental 3D Printing Makes Turnaround Predictable

If you want to know where your supports will be placed, simply rotate your part. The red overhang areas indicate exactly where support is needed.

Tip 2: Visualize Overhang Angles

To easily see overhang angles inside your part, switch the view from “Solid” to “Wireframe” using the keyboard buttons S + W.

Tip 3: Position Parts Faster

If you want to speed up manual part positioning, you can toggle between position and rotation of your models using the 1 and 2 keys.

Tip 4: Remove Unneeded Modules

Some modules may not be necessary for your workflow. You can disable them in the workflow settings to keep your workspace cleaner and more focused.

Tip 5: Keep Track of Costs

To see the real cost of your 3D printed parts, go into the settings and adjust prices for gas, powder, and electricity. This helps users plan efficiently and stay within budget.

Conclusion

With these five tips, users can unlock the full potential of 2Build CAM and work more efficiently than ever—saving time, material, and effort on every project. Give them a try and optimize your next print job with confidence.
