Production Workflow

The workflow for 3D printed titanium earmolds for hearing aids, combines state-of-the-art technologies. This is how custom-fit earmolds are created – from the digital ear scan, through CAD design, to 3D printing with the 2Create or 2Create Plus.
The subsequent post-processing includes stress relief in the oven, removal of the build platform and support structures, and precise, gentle surface polishing with OTEC, before the final assembly takes place.
