Learn below how our 2Create Plus 3D Metal Printer enhances productivity at Neo Lab. A tale of innovation, quality and collaboration in orthodontic care.
This month, we had the incredible opportunity to visit our valued customers, Neo Lab (New England Orthodontic Laboratory), once again to install and provide training on our latest machine: the 2Create Plus 3D Metal Printer. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Neo Lab for nearly two years, and it’s been a rewarding journey for both sides.

Our PBF 3D printers 2Create and 2Create Plus utilize laser beam melting (SLM) and offer precision, efficiency, speed, material variety, cost benefits, and versatile applications.
Based in Andover, Massachusetts, Neo Lab is a leading orthodontic laboratory with over 40 years of experience in delivering reliable, high-quality solutions. Specializing in full-service digital orthodontics, they offer services such as 3D printing, digital study models, archiving, and free digital workflow consultations. Their dedication to innovation and excellence aligns perfectly with our values, making them an ideal partner.

During this time, we’ve installed three printers at Neo Lab, and this visit marked the installation of their fourth – the new 2Create Plus. This advanced 3D metal printer offers a larger build area, allowing Neo Lab to print even more Rapid Palatal Expanders (RPEs) simultaneously.

Neo Lab specializes in printing RPEs in stainless steel, and the 2Create Plus has significantly boosted their productivity. Previously, they could produce 4 large RPEs in 2.5 hours using the 2Create. Now, with the 2Create Plus, they can print 12 or larger RPEs in under 4 hours! That’s nearly three times the output per printer – a true game-changer for their workflow.

As Christian Saurman from Neo Lab puts it:
“A compact machine, easy to set up and use, with consistently high product quality - we couldn’t ask for more.”
We’re thrilled to see how our technology is helping Neo Lab push the boundaries of what’s possible in orthodontic care, and we’re excited to continue our close collaboration for many years to come.
