2Sieve is a compact ultrasonic sieving system that gently cleans used metal powder collected in the overflow container. Ultrasonic vibrations (33–37 kHz) separate fine, reusable particles from coarse ones, preserving particle shape and flowability.
2Sieve features a HEPA filter to contain dust and fine particles. Sieving under protective gas (e.g., argon or nitrogen) prevents reactive powders like titanium or aluminum from igniting. Its compact, enclosed design further minimizes powder exposure.
After each print, used powder from the printer’s overflow and vacuumed chamber powder should be sieved to remove coarse particles and contaminants.
After printing, 2Clean recovers powder from the build chamber, while overflow powder is collected separately.
