We’re excited to announce the release of 2Build Cam version 1.2.8. This update brings significant improvements in automation, user customization, support generation, and even language accessibility. You can find an overview of all the new features in the following blog post.

1. Customizable Workflow Interface
Users can now personalize the workflow toolbar in the main window. The optional modules – Validation, Labeling, Strategy Editor, and Slicing Viewer – can be shown or hidden based on user preference via the burger menu.

2. Smart Support Generation
The support point generation has been improved to avoid support placement on excessively small overhangs, which is especially useful in applications like model casting. This results in a cleaner support structure with fewer unnecessary support points, improving print efficiency and reducing post-processing effort.

3. Enhanced Support Editor Tools
- Support points and structures can now be selected using a rectangle selection tool (press Alt_L to activate).

- Rod support generation has been improved to avoid unintentional contact with the part surface.
4. Italian Language:
2Build is now available in Italian, making the software even more accessible to users across Europe.
5. Additional Improvements
- Improved print time calculation and updated display in project reports
- Double-plate heat treatment has been added for the 2Create Plus, with height restrictions removed.
