At 2onelab, we are constantly working to improve the user experience for our customers with innovative features and tools. Therefore, we would like to introduce the new feature of the 2Build software, the Project Report: a helpful, integrated tool for more transparency and control over your 3D projects.

More InformationWhat is the Project Report?
The Project Report is a new addition to the 2Build software. After generating the G-code, you will automatically receive detailed information about your 3D printing project in the form of a PDF file, which you can save, share, or print. This way, all the important data is clearly documented, allowing you to make informed decisions even before the project is initiated.
Optionally, you can also view the Project Report after the print job is completed within the 2Connect web application. It can thus be used for analysis and future process optimizations of the entire 3D workflow.
The Report includes:
Graphic Overview
- A clearly structured graphic displays the parts to be printed, supplemented by a numerical assignment.
Timestamp (optional)
- Date and time of the report creation.
Print Project Details
- Number of Models: The total number of objects to be printed.
- Print Time: Estimated or actual duration of the printing process.
- Print Height and Volume: Technical details of the models.
Material Data
- Material Type and Quantity: Information on the materials used and the required amount.
- Material Costs: Calculated costs based on the material used.
Energy and Gas Costs
- Energy Consumption and Energy Costs: Estimates before printing.
- Gas Consumption and Gas Costs: Estimates before printing.
Cost Overview
- A total cost breakdown combining material, energy, and gas costs.
A Plus for Your Projects
The Project Report is a helpful addition for organizing and tracking 3D printing projects – both before and after printing. The clearly presented information serves not only for documentation but also for the analysis and evaluation of important decision-making parameters, such as consumption and costs. It thus supports you in optimizing the entire 3D workflow process.
