1. General Changes:
The diameter of the printable area for the 2Create system has been expanded from 100 mm to 106 mm.
- The printable area for the 2Create system has been increased by 12%.
- The speed of the slicing process has been increased by a factor of two to three.
An algorithm for oven rods has been added to the burger menu, enabling stacked heat treatment of two build plates (e.g., in the METAL GLOW 120). These oven rods should be sliced using the default support strategies.
The “Create Oven Rods” function generates three cylinders at the platform edge, 0.5 mm taller than the highest model, up to a max. of 35 mm. Below you can find the illustrations.
- The display of coater/gas settings is now available directly in the main window.
- The 2onelab logo has been updated.
- If the slicing process cannot be completed due to a memory error, the RAM safety mode is automatically activated.
2. Global Settings:
- The 2Build software is now additionally available in Romanian and Spanish.
- A collision protection feature has been implemented to detect potential model overlaps before the slicing process.
3. Enhancements in the Parameter Development Module:
- Labels for DoE models can now be printed directly on the models.
- The value display within the contour plot has been improved.
4. Enhancements in the Labeling Module:
- The suggested labeling string now includes the last three characters of the model name.
- Tooltips for model names have been added.
5. Enhancements in the Support Editor:
- Helpful screenshots have been added to the tooltip displays of the support parameters.
6. Bug Fixes:
- A bug has been fixed that could cause the software to crash under certain conditions due to a memory error during the slicing process.
This software update aims to further improve software performance, stability, and user experience.
